Math

Now if you were asked to define mathematics, you might describe it as a subject that you try to teach to disinterested students in the hopes that they will take note of the fact that it is fractions and not fractures that are part of the whole.  It was simply beyond your comprehension that at a time in your life when your pancreas should be at peace with itself, you would be struggling to prove to thirty-two students that it is virtually impossible to convert dollars into inches.  To make the struggle easier, we've come up with the following math materials.  Basically, all of our math materials are for the older student who is having difficulty.  They are sequenced and repetitive.  We do not promise that the students will be excited and motivated.  We feel that the your students should go to the video arcade for entertainment and to school for an education. So, here's what we have to offer in the area of math materials...

MATH REFERENCE FOR MIDDLE GRADES
reproducibles ...$18.00
This new book is a great reference for anyone needing basic information and examples of the most common topics covered in middle school math.  Units cover decimals; pre-algebra; fractions and mixed numbers; ratio, proportion, and percents, integers, geometry and measurement and more.  The nine units are divided into several lessons covering one or two concepts.  The first part of each lesson is a step-by-step guide with examples of how to solve problems.  In the last section students practice and apply what they've learned.  Includes glossary and CD ROM with extra practice problems.  Correlated with NCTM standards.
